Learn the art of "painting with paper"!

In these workshops, we begin with an acrylic painting (subject matter varies) as an underpainting or blueprint per se on wood panel.

Using a variety of papers - rice paper, deli paper, old hymnals, letters etc. - we proceed to create our collage materials.  I recommend liquid acrylic paint,  brush, scrape, stamp multiple layers of color and texture on papers to match the colors of our underpainting.

Once our papers have been selected, we carefully tear tiny pieces that mimic our original brush strokes (and colors) and adhere them to the panel in order to achieve this impressionistic, painterly collage.  The end results are amazing!  

Workshops are limited to 6 participants.  $275 per person if you provide your own supplies.   $325 per person - I provide paints/papers/gelli plate and brayer for the duration of the workshop.
